October 4th Union Meeting Agenda and Location Change

 OCTOBER 4th  UNION MEETING 4PM
New Temporary Location :

EL Segundo, CA 90245

 

Refreshments Will Be Served.:

  • Approval to spend up to $5K for the 2017 pocket calendars.
  • Approval to spend up to $15k for a new Air-conditioning & Heating Unit.
  • Approval to spend up to $37k for additional construction needed beyond what the insurance will pay.
  • Approval to spend up to $1,300 for Bibles.
  • Approval to spend up to 3 days of lost time for the Secretary Treasure, 2 auditors and one trustee for an audit in October.
  • Approval to reimburse Deryl Gaylord $21.00 for union business mailings.
  • Approval to reimburse Joe Martinez $63.77 for the printing of 30 copies of the new local lodge by-laws .
  • Approval to send $250.00 to local Lodge 850, District Lodge 171, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. LL 850 went on strike and need our financial assistance.
  • The League of Women Voters will have 2 speakers at our October’s union meeting to speak about the upcoming Presidential election and Calif. State propositions

Please take note, that our October union meeting will be held at the TWU Hall in El Segundo.  The address and directions is listed below.

From L.A.X to the TWU HALL in El Segundo:

 

1. Drive south bound on Sepulveda Blvd and turn right (west bound) on El Segundo Blvd.

2. Travel west bound approximately 1.2 miles. When you get to the stop sign on Main St.  continue westbound 1 more block to Richmond St.

3. Turn right on Richmond St.

4. The TWU Hall will be to your left and public parking will be to your right.

5. If you reach W Franklin Ave you’ve gone a little too far.
